Destination Great Neck Community Forum @Mariner Estate

On December 18, 2024 Destination:Great Neck hosted our latest DGN Community Mixer at The Mariner Estate, which was sponsored by M&T Bank and The Mariner Estate. The event featured Victoria Schneps, publisher of  Schneps Media and their efforts to support the Great Neck business community. The evening was highlighted by a nice gathering of local residents, local business leaders and elected officials and community leaders. Many Great Neck merchants donated generous raffle prizes. A special thank you to Matt Cheong, Steven Zias, & Evan Babb of M&T Bank .

Victoria Schneps, founder and president of Schneps Media, has been a trailblazer in local media since 1985, when she launched The Queens Courier. Under her visionary leadership, Schneps Media now encompasses 70 community newspapers and magazines, serving New York City, Long Island, and Westchester. Schneps Media recently acquired Great Neck Record (Anton Media) and Great Neck New (Blank Slate Media).

Along with M & T and The Mariner Estate, the Esagoff Law Group, P.C. was also a contributing sponsor of the DGN Community Mixer event. Janet Nina Esagoff, founder of "Destination: Great Neck" is a longtime resident of the Great Neck peninsula. Since 2017, Destination: Great Neck's grassroots efforts have organized and publicized the highlights of the Great Neck community and its historic past, particularly on social media, with aims to to fortify community bonds and economic development for future generations of our hometown.
